Key Responsibilities:

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Evaluating tender documents and preparing competitive, profitable tender proposals
  • Working closely with the Contract Manager and Design Manager to ensure high-quality tender submissions
  • Preparing pricing schedules, bills of quantities and preliminaries from drawings and site visits
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of labour and material costs
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and suppliers
  • Reviewing project requirements and ensuring accurate and commercially viable pricing
  • Supporting the continued growth and development of the business
  • Managing multiple tenders while working to deadlines
Requirements:

What You’ll have:

  • Around 3 years’ experience in an Estimator or similar role
  • Strong experience within joinery manufacturing and/or commercial joinery is essential
  • A strong understanding of joinery materials, manufacturing processes and associated costs
  • Experience within commercial fit-out projects would be highly advantageous
  • The ability to interpret drawings, specifications and tender documentation
  • Strong commercial awareness and excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing deadlines
