Key Responsibilities:

Embedded & Device Development

  • Develop and maintain software for telematics hardware devices
  • Implement reliable communication between devices and cloud systems
  • Debug, optimise, and enhance embedded firmware

Cloud & Backend Development

  • Design and build scalable backend services
  • Develop APIs for secure device and application communication
  • Support real-time data processing and cloud integration

Frontend / Web Development

  • Build and maintain customer-facing dashboards and portals
  • Develop responsive interfaces for data visualisation
  • Collaborate on UI/UX improvements

Full Stack Integration

  • Support end-to-end system architecture
  • Troubleshoot issues across hardware, software, and cloud layers

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Work with hardware suppliers and technology partners
  • Engage with clients to support technical delivery and implementation

 

Requirements:

Essential Criteria

  • Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or similar
  • Minimum 3 years’ professional software development experience
  • Strong programming skills in C, C++, Python, or Ruby
  • Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks (e.g. React, Angular, Vue, Django, Flask)
  • Full-stack development experience (frontend, backend, databases)
  • Experience with IoT, telematics, or connected devices
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Understanding of REST APIs, MQTT, TCP/IP
  • Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases

 

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in telematics, automotive, or industrial systems
  • Knowledge of GPS, CAN bus, or vehicle telemetry
  • Familiarity with Linux-based embedded systems
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Awareness of cybersecurity best practices
